The available limit is up to $1 million per truck, trailer, or railcar. Higher limits require approval before the shipment.
The plan is designed to provide broader financial protection than basic carrier liability for eligible losses.
Clients prove that a covered loss occurred without having to establish who caused it.
Shipping Protection can be offered during the quoting process. The client selects whether to accept or decline the option before signing the quote. When selected, the fee appears as a separate item on the project invoice.

Does Every Shipment Qualify for Shipping Protection?
Shipping Protection is subject to eligibility requirements, limits, deductibles, conditions, and exclusions.
Some categories that may not qualify, including servers transported inside racks or cabinets, smartphones and tablets, and goods intended for scrap.
Eligibility should therefore be confirmed during the quoting process.
Clients should also report any loss or damage in writing within seven calendar days, according to the current Sales Guide.
Shipping Protection is not insurance and is secondary to any applicable coverage maintained by the client.
